Younex Solutions designed and developed the official website for the Dental Arts centre for dental medicine and cosmetic dentistry under the supervision of Dr Ehab Kamal in Nasr City, Cairo, as a complete digital front bringing together a presentation of the services, the approximate prices, the medical team and real before-and-after cases, with an online appointment booking system built on the slots actually available at the clinic. And the site runs on the same back end that powers the clinic's Android app, so that the services, dentists, cases and bookings are managed from one Arabic dashboard.
Project overview
The Dental Arts project is a multi-page, bilingual dental clinic site, built and launched in September 2026. The site's main goal was not merely an "introductory page" for the clinic but a platform turning a visitor interested in treatment or cosmetic work on their teeth into a patient with a booked appointment, while reducing the repeated questions that consume the reception's time daily such as: how much does the service cost? Who is the specialist dentist? When are appointments available? And where is the clinic?
The site came out in Arabic as its primary language with a right-to-left interface, with a complete English version on the /en path serving non-Arabic-speaking patients. And the project comprises a set of connected pages covering the patient's whole journey:
- Home: a quick introduction to the centre, a fast booking form inside the hero, and the most prominent services and offers.
- About the centre: the clinic's story, its vision and its approach to care.
- Our services: a list of the services with filtering by category, a price starting from, and the session duration.
- The medical team: a card for each dentist with their specialism, their services and their weekly clinic hours.
- Before and after: a gallery of real cases with an interactive comparison slider.
- Medical advice: an educational blog with search and classification.
- Contact us and book your appointment: a contact form, a map and frequently asked questions, and a four-step booking page.
And the site is part of a larger digital system Younex delivered for the clinic, which also includes the mobile app whose details can be seen in the Dental Arts app case study.
The client and the sector
The Dental Arts centre under the supervision of Dr Ehab Kamal is a clinic specialising in dental medicine and cosmetic dentistry, located at 38 Mohamed El-Moqrif Street, off Hassan El-Maamoun Street, behind the Ahly Club in Nasr City in Cairo. And the clinic receives patients daily from nine in the morning until ten at night except Friday.
The clinic is not a single-dentist practice but a multi-dentist centre comprising the supervising founding dentist alongside dentists specialising in root canal and endodontic treatment and general dentistry. And its services cover a broad spectrum of treatments, organised into four main categories:
- General: examination and consultation, cleaning and polishing, composite fillings, root canal treatment, and extraction.
- Cosmetic: teeth whitening and zirconia crowns.
- Orthodontics and implants: dental braces and dental implants.
- Children: treatment and follow-up of children's teeth.
The dental clinic sector in Cairo is a highly competitive sector, in which the patient relies heavily on online search and social media before deciding to visit. The patient wants to see real results, to understand the cost of treatment approximately, to know the dentist who will treat them, and to book without long calls. And from here a professional website was an essential element in building trust and turning interest into an actual visit.
The challenge
At the project's beginning, the clinic's needs went beyond the idea of a traditional introductory site, and the most prominent challenges were as follows:
Booking relies on the phone and messages
Reaching an appointment most often went through a call or a WhatsApp message, followed by a question about the service, the dentist and the available times, then waiting for a reply. This method consumes the reception team's time, and sometimes leads to losing prospective patients who did not receive a quick reply outside peak times.
The absence of transparency in prices and durations
A patient hesitates a great deal to get in touch if they have no preliminary idea of the cost of treatment or the number of sessions. And the clinic needed to present prices starting from and the duration of each session in an organised and clear way, without that turning into a rigid price list that is hard to update.
Demonstrating the quality of the results
In cosmetic dentistry specifically, the image is the strongest proof. The clinic had real before-and-after cases, but they were not presented in a professional way allowing the visitor to compare the result easily, or to browse the cases by the type of treatment that concerns them.
Managing two digital channels without duplication
The clinic has an app on Android alongside the site, and it was essential that managing the two channels should not turn into a doubled burden: updating the prices in two places, adding a dentist twice, and following bookings distributed across different systems.
An Arab patient and a foreign one
With the presence of patients who do not speak Arabic, there was a need for a complete English version, not merely a partial translation of some headings.
The solution Younex delivered
Younex treated the project as a complete system and not as an interface design alone, and built the solution on three connected axes: a smooth booking experience, content that builds trust, and a unified back end serving the site and the app together. It is the same approach we adopt in our dental clinic website design service.
A four-step online booking system
The "book your appointment" page was designed to lead the patient step by step without distraction:
- Choosing the service required from the list of services.
- Choosing the dentist, an optional step for whoever prefers a particular dentist.
- Choosing the day and time from the slots actually available in the clinic's diary, not from notional times.
- Entering the patient's basic details and sending the request.
The patient does not need to create an account to complete the booking, with an optional "book faster with a Google account" choice that fills in the name automatically and links the booking to the same Google account inside the mobile app. And once the request arrives, the reception team takes on confirming the appointment by a call or a WhatsApp message.
Direct booking links from everywhere
Every service card and every dentist card contains a booking button opening the booking page with the service or the dentist already selected through links such as /booking?service=…&doctor=…, so the patient begins from the point they reached instead of choosing again. A fast booking form was also added to the home page hero for whoever wants to begin immediately.
One back end for the site and the app
Younex built a REST API in PHP 8.3 with a MySQL database serving the site and the "Dental Arts Clinic" app on Android at once. The services, prices, dentists and cases are shared between the two channels, with the ability to control the visibility of each item separately: showing it on the site, or in the app, or in both.
A custom Arabic dashboard
An Arabic dashboard was developed divided into clear sections reflecting the way the clinic works:
- General: the settings and the shared data.
- The website: the site's bookings, the services, the site's text, the images, the articles, and a contact message inbox with a new or handled status.
- The app: the app's bookings, its content, and the notifications.
The system also includes an independent maintenance mode for the site and another for the app, so that one channel can be paused temporarily without affecting the other.

The features delivered
A services page with intelligent filtering
The ten services are presented in organised cards that can be filtered by the four categories: general, cosmetic, orthodontics and implants, and children. And each card presents the price the treatment starts from in Egyptian pounds and the expected session duration, with a direct booking button for that service.
The medical team page
Each dentist has a card presenting their specialism, the services they offer, and their weekly clinic hours, with a "book with this dentist" button. And this gives a patient looking for a particular specialism, such as root canal treatment, a direct path to the appropriate dentist.
The interactive before-and-after gallery
The gallery comprises 29 real cases from the clinic's cases, each presented with a comparison slider that can be dragged left and right to see the difference between the case before treatment and after it. And the cases are classified into five treatment groups: Hollywood smile, cosmetic, prosthetics, implants and orthodontics, so that every visitor reaches the cases closest to their need.
The medical advice blog
An educational section comprising 6 articles at launch, with a search feature and a filter by classification. And this section serves two goals: educating patients about caring for their teeth, and building content able to grow that supports the site's visibility in search results over the long term.
The limited-time offers section
A section dedicated to the clinic's offers with an end date for each offer, such as a discount on laser teeth whitening, a free examination for children with a cleaning session for the parent, and dental braces in instalments. A banner dedicated to children's dentistry was also designed in the clinic's visual identity.
Contact channels at one tap
- WhatsApp buttons with pre-written messages sparing the patient the effort of drafting their request.
- A direct call button from mobile.
- A link to the clinic's Instagram account.
- Directions through Google Maps.
- A section for downloading the clinic's app from Google Play.
A complete contact page
The "contact us" page brings together a contact form, a map of the clinic's location, WhatsApp and call buttons, and a frequently asked questions section answering the most repeated enquiries. And the messages arrive in a dedicated inbox in the dashboard with the ability to mark each message as new or handled.
How the project ran
- Discovery and needs analysis: studying the way the clinic works, the services and categories, the dentists' schedules, the patient journey from search through to the visit, and identifying the friction points in the current booking process.
- Content and page structuring: building the site map, organising the services into four categories, classifying the before-and-after cases into five groups, and defining the data shared between the site and the app.
- Interface design: a design in the clinic's identity starting from mobile, with attention to the Arabic reading direction and adapting the layout for the English version.
- Back-end and database development: building the REST API in PHP 8.3 with a unified MySQL database, with the available slots logic and the visibility control for each platform.
- Front-end development: delivering the pages in Tailwind CSS and pure JavaScript, and building the comparison slider, the filters, and the multi-step booking system.
- The dashboard: developing an Arabic panel with sections for the site, the app, the general settings and the independent maintenance mode.
- SEO and performance: adding Dentist Schema, an Open Graph image, optimising the fonts and icons, and enabling content caching.
- Testing and launch: testing the booking journey on various devices, reviewing the Arabic and English versions, then launching on a managed VPS server with SSL in September 2026.
User experience and design
The design set out from the fact that the majority of visitors to clinic sites browse from a phone, and most often in a moment of need or quick interest. So a mobile-first approach was adopted on every page, with care that the booking button and the contact channels should always be within finger's reach.
A hero that adapts to the screen
On large screens the hero image appears beside the text and the fast booking form, whereas on mobile the image turns into an elegant card above the text, so it neither pushes the important content downwards nor weighs down the browsing experience.
Clarity before ornament
The interface relied on organised cards and a clear visual sequence: the service's name, then the price it starts from, then the duration, then the booking button. This order answers the patient's questions in the order they think of them, and reduces the hesitation before deciding.
Interactivity serving trust
The before-and-after comparison slider was not added as an aesthetic element alone but because it makes the visitor engage with the result themselves, which leaves a stronger impression than merely two images side by side. And likewise the filters on the services, cases and blog pages, which shorten the road to the content required.
A genuinely Arabic experience
The Arabic version was built fully RTL from the start, not as a mirrored copy of an English design, with a complete English version preserving the same structure and functions. And the site can be seen directly at dentalarts.site.
Results and impact
With the site's launch, Dental Arts moved from relying on calls and messages as an almost sole booking channel to a complete digital system, and the clinic is now able to:
- Receive booking requests around the clock through the site, even outside working hours and on Friday, with the patient choosing a slot that is actually available.
- Ease the pressure on the reception team, whose role has become confirming the bookings rather than gathering their details from scratch.
- Answer the questions about prices and durations in advance through the service cards, which makes the patient who gets in touch more ready to decide.
- Present its real results professionally through the interactive before-and-after gallery classified by treatment type.
- Direct the patient to the appropriate dentist through the medical team page and each dentist's hours.
- Manage the site and the app from one place without duplicating data entry, with control over what appears on each platform.
- Launch and update seasonal offers quickly with clear end dates.
- Build a strong foundation for search visibility thanks to the structured data and the scalable medical advice blog.
And the site and the app now work as two complementary channels serving the same patient, which reflects Younex's experience in bringing together clinic website design and mobile app development within one system. And if your clinic needs a similar solution, you can get in touch with the Younex team to discuss your project.
Frequently asked questions
Does the patient need to create an account to book an appointment on the Dental Arts site?
No. The booking can be completed without creating any account through four steps: choosing the service, then the dentist optionally, then the day and time from the available slots, then the patient's details. And an optional choice is available for faster booking with a Google account which fills in the name automatically.
Are the slots presented on the booking page real appointments?
Yes. The booking system presents the days and times actually available in the clinic's diary, then the reception team takes on confirming the appointment with the patient by a phone call or a WhatsApp message.
What is the relationship between the site and the Dental Arts Clinic app on Android?
The site and the app run on one back end and a shared database, so the services, prices, dentists and cases are managed once, with the ability to define the visibility of each item on the site or the app or both. And more can be found in the app's case study.
Does the site support English?
Yes. The site is built with Arabic as its primary language in a right-to-left direction, with a complete English version covering the same pages and functions to serve non-Arabic-speaking patients.
How does the before-and-after gallery on the site work?
The gallery presents 29 real cases, and each case has a comparison slider the visitor drags to see the difference before and after treatment, with the cases filtered into five groups: Hollywood, cosmetic, prosthetics, implants and orthodontics.
Can the clinic change the prices, services and articles itself?
Yes. Through a custom Arabic dashboard divided into general sections and others for the site and a third for the app, from which the services, prices, site text, images, articles, bookings and contact messages can be managed without needing programming experience.
What technologies were used in building the site?
The site was built in PHP 8.3 with a MySQL database, with pre-compiled Tailwind CSS and pure JavaScript, in addition to Dentist Schema in JSON-LD, an Open Graph image for sharing, and a self-hosted icon font to improve loading speed.
When was the Dental Arts site launched?
The site was built and launched in September 2026 on a managed VPS server with an SSL certificate, within a complete digital system Younex Solutions delivered for the clinic covering the site, the app and the dashboard.
